How is this different from other aquarium screensavers? Goldfish have so-far been under-represented in the world of aquarium screensavers, perhaps due to their complicated swimming motion. We felt that this beloved, yet neglected, species was overdue for a screensaver of its own.
Why not just buy some real fish instead? We strongly recommend doing so. But for those who just want the joy of goldfish, without all the ammonia-testing, siphon-sucking, algae-blooming headaches... we've created this screensaver. In a perfect world, we believe everyone would have both.
Will this really save my screen? The original purpose of screensavers was to prevent "monitor burn-in," which is not such a threat anymore. Perhaps we should consider renaming the genre "sanity savers," since their primary function these days is to provide a bit of relaxation, beauty and serenity during those all-important times when the computer isn't in use.
